I like art. I usually like to make my own art. I begin by using a canvas and paint on the canvas a design. I am really fond of lots of the art there is. Especially on how people can order custom made canvas art.

I just purchased an old painting today from a thrift store. I do not know anything about art but I can tell it is oldfrom the crackling of the paint. I googled the image and also has label on back, I presume from a gallery.omenichino cumean sibyl. I believe it to be original. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but it looks like what I would expect a 400 year old painting to. Does anyone have an idea what the value would be if this is a true original? I live in a very rural area and there is no Art Gallery very close I want to know if it would be worth the trip to get it checked out.

I have this print framed and hanging in my home. It was given to me years ago by a great-grandmother. I just now was interested enough to look up the signature to see what I could find out. I had no idea of the history of the painter nor who the subject in the portrait was, The Infant Samuel, 1776.
