As a study of the Leonardo Da Vinci from 1986 to the present sale of the SALVATOR MUNDI by Christi's Auction in New York, I find a major conflict with the substantiation research by Dr. J. Snow-Smith done in 1974 through 1982. The Marquis Jean-Louis de Ganay ownership of the SALVATOR MUNDI with red tunic has sufficient historical tracking of the 1507 authenticity origin by the Renaissance Master. The recent $450 M USD sale of the Christie's blue tunic is a restored SALVATOR MUNDI of a clever overpainting from Da Vinci's apprentice Giovanni A. Boltraffio.
