(active 1340s in Normandy)

Angel Playing the Lyre

1340s
Stained glass window, 205 x 79 cm
Musée du Louvre, Paris

This stained glass composition, fragment of a stained glass window, comes from the border of the "Pentecost" stained glass window of the Rouen cathedral, offered by the archdeacon Jean de Nonancourt, but cannot be put back in place because the edges were altered during restoration in the nineteenth century.
