The Renaissance interiors of Tratzberg Castle have the best-preserved room furnishings of the pre-1600 period: the Königinnenzimmer (1568-69), with a coffered ceiling, wall paneling and biblical texts in inlay work running round the cornice, is attributed to Hans Waldner.
