Lycée Condorcet, Paris

Brongniart designed the new Capuchin monastery in Paris, the chapel of which became the church of Saint-Louis d'Antin, the other parts of the complex houses now the Lycée Condorcet.

The façade, with three pedimented doors, is entirely animated by quoin-style rustication. The inner courtyard includes a cloister surrounded by a portico, for which Brongniart used baseless Doric columns, called "Greek Doric."

The photo shows the façade of the Lycée.
