Our Lady of Loreto, Prague

The façade of the shrine of Our Lady of Loreto in Prague demonstrates a strong Rococo affinity. It was built from 1721 according to plans by CHristoph Dientzenhofer, but the work was completed by his son Kilian Ignaz. The broad façade is dignified and restrained; only the two end bays allow the front to curve slightly. The bell tower dominating the façade provides the most decorative feature.
