Shrine of St Peter Martyr: Ambush and Killing of Peter

Like the Arca of St Dominic, the shrine rested on caryatids and carried scenes from the Saint's legend round the sides of the sarcophagus. The picture shows the relief on the left side of the shrine. It depicts The Ambush and Killing of Peter.
