This ceiling fresco makes up a set with other frescoes representing Venus, Love, and Apollo and Minerva. They were removed from their original site in the Palazzo Barbarigo-Dabalà at Angelo Raffaele and mounted on canvas. The rocaille style of the allegorical-mythological decorative component in its more Venetian and ethereal inflection, whose most imaginative and refined interpreter was elder Guardi brother, here gives natural and elegant proof of its possibilities.
