The Coronation of the Virgin was executed by Lorenzo di Niccolò for the church of San Marco in Florence. The painting closely reprises the altarpiece which he painted in collaboration with Spinello Aretino and Niccolò di Pietro Gerini for the church of Santa Felicità only a year earlier. | |
