Two scenes from the story of Noah, which appear after the Calendar, framed like panel painting, are among the magnificent miniatures of this devotional book. The scene depicting the building of Noah's ark on folio 14v is attributed to one of the most important contemporaries of the Bedford Master, who illustrated also the Golden Legend, now kept in Munich.
