A priest stands between Joseph and the Virgin, bringing their hands together in marriage. Joseph is placing a ring on a finger of the Virgin's right hand; in the other hand she holds a book in a red bag decorated with white dots. Joseph holds a rod that has blossomed in the form of green leaves, and a white dove.
