The tapestry was designed by Victor Honoré Janssens. It was executed in the Brussels workshop of Urbanus Leyniers and Hendrik II Reydams and is signed bottom right: Leyniers-Reydams. The tapestry belongs to the series History of the Duchy of Brabant hanging in the Council Chamber of the Brussels Town Hall.
