Lorenzo's prayer book also constitutes a masterpiece of calligraphy. Its clear and well-balanced Scriptura Humanistica is the work of the Florentine scribe Antonio Sinibaldi (1443-before 1528). In addition to the ornamental borders, numerous initials enliven this double page (folios 51v and 52r).
