The Palazzo Canossa in Verona was commissioned by the Marquises of Canossa from the architect Michele Sanmicheli in 1527. It is in Mannerist style, with the entrance preceded by a notable portico. The architect was influenced by Giulio Romano's Palazzo del Tè in Mantua.
