Nude Sleeping in a Landscape

This picture shows one of the landscapes with mythological figures in the upper register of the walls (above the seated figures) in the so-called Hall of the all'antica figures in the Villa dei Vescovi. This scene presages later works by Sustris, such as Venus and Cupid in the Louvre.
