Priory church, Anzy-le-Duc (Brionnais)

The church in Anzy-le-Duc, southern Burgundy, once part of a priory, dates primarily from the 11th century. It has interesting sculptures on its west and south tympanums, lively carved corbels, and some unusual capitals inside.

The figural capitals in the nave combine decorative mask shapes with figurative scenes.
