This jewel-like pulpit was built for a preacher, Geiler of Kayserberg. The statuettes in the middle represent the Virgin between saints. In the upper section is an expressive Crucifixion, while the sides are adorned with statues of eight apostles and angels bearing the instruments of their martyrdom.
