The manuscript is a fragment of only 8 leaves, containing part of the Old Testament from Job 40: 8 to Proverbs 3: 19. It is written in uncials in the Coptic-Sahidic language, the dialect used in Southern Egypt from the first centuries of the Christian era.
Folio 4v of the manuscript is illustrated by a large pen drawing representing Job with his three daughters. The miniature is an important witness to the evolution of Coptic art at the time of its transition from the Hellenistic tradition to a more linear style.
