Folio 19v precedes the Gospel of St Matthew. The miniature is divided into three parts. In the upper register the Annunciation and the Visitation, in the middle register the Nativity and the Annunciation to the Shepherds, while in the lower register Herod and the Three Magi are depicted.

The codex belonged for a long time to the monastery of Echternach.
