The picture shows folio 83r with a full-page miniature featuring the Presentation in the Temple. The miniature depicts the event in the interior of a two-tower Romanesque church. As in the the manuscript's other miniatures, the figures are conceived as liturgical actors rather then narrative characters. The drapery is heavy, deeply pleated, and architectonic - a Romanesque inheritance used to convey sacral authority.
The folio contains an embroidered repair.
