The picture shows folio 94r with a full-page miniature featuring the Annunciation to Zacharias. The figures of Zacharias and Archangel Gabriel are depicted in the interior of a Romanesque church.
The Annunciation to Zacharias is a biblical event in the Gospel of Luke (1:5–25), in which the archangel Gabriel appears to the elderly priest Zacharias in the temple in Jerusalem. Gabriel tells him that his ageing, childless wife, Elizabeth, will bear a son named John (later John the Baptist), but Zacharias is struck mute for doubting the prophecy.
The folio contains an embroidered repair.
