The picture shows folio 96r with a full-page miniature featuring the Crucifixion of St Peter.
When the emperor condemned the apostle Peter, he asked to be crucified upside down because he felt unworthy to die in the same way as Jesus Christ. The lower part of the miniature shows the judgment, while the upper part shows the crucifixion.
The folio contains embroidered repairs.
