The Nativity follows the Annunciation on folio 149v, painted against a blue ground sprinkled with white dots. The Virgin reclines on a couch suckling the Child, while the ox and ass feed nearby. A woman in red adjusts the coverlet, and Joseph sits to one side beneath looped white curtains. A trefoil arch with censing angels in the spandrels frames the whole scene.
