This is a page of the Munich Psalter (a Latin Psalter from England), representing Christ in Glory. The Psalter is the most lavish produced in England at the beginning of the 13th century. It possesses the extraordinary number of eighty full-page illustrations. It appears to have originated in the Gloucester area. Naturally, in an undertaking of this size several artists took part.
