The miniature on folio 2v depicts the zodiac sign of Gemini (twins) at the centre of an intricate dual-ring diagram illustrating Moirogenesis.

The outer ring of the diagram contains images representing every single degree of a given zodiac sign; the inner ring includes a brief description of the fate of anyone born in that degree of the sign.

In the outer ring of the Gemini miniature, the images mostly depict one or two figures, along with a few animals and birds.
