The miniature on folio 4v depicts the zodiac sign of Leo (lion) at the centre of an intricate dual-ring diagram illustrating Moirogenesis.

The outer ring of the diagram contains images representing every single degree of a given zodiac sign; the inner ring includes a brief description of the fate of anyone born in that degree of the sign.

In the outer ring of the Leo miniature, the colourful images mostly depict animals and the activities of one or two figures.
