Similarly to other Psalters, on folio 15 the first initial B of the text of the first psalm is the most beautifully decorated letter of the manuscript. In the upper part the half-figure of Christ, in the lower King David playing the harp can be seen. The Hungarian miniaturist alloyed Byzantine, Romanesque elements reaching an individual style.
The first owner of the codex was Margaret, daughter of King Béla IV, a nun later canonized.
