Aristotle: De Interpretazione

1300-10
Manuscript (Ms. 275)
British Library, London

This early fourteenth-century manuscript contains an anthology of grammatical and scholastic texts. The initial on folio 176v marks the opening of Aristotle's De Interpretatione. It shows a master in a disputation with his students.

The manuscript belonged to Gregory XI, pope 1370-78, and to anti-pope Clement VII who gave it to the Duc de Berry in 1397.
