The Franciscan theologian Richard of Mediavilla (c. 1249-c. 1300) was regent master in Paris 1284-87. This manuscript contains his commentary on the Sentences of Peter Lombard. Folio 1r shows, in the upper left-hand corner, the author himself lecturing to Franciscan students and, in the lower right, Christ tending a sick man in a miniature to illustrate a discussion of the Good Samaritan.
