This French manuscript of 216 folios treats French history from 1270 to 1380. It was illustrated by Virgil Master and his atelier with 266 two- or one-column miniatures.
The picture shows folio 135v of the codex which is illustrated by miniatures depicting the Regent blockading Paris, and the Regent and the king of Navarre conferring in a tent.
