This vast manuscript, belonged to the Duc de Berry, contains an account of the history of the ancient world, written like a Gothic romance. In the full-page miniature on folio 147r, shown here, the Greeks, dressed as medieval knights, bring the wooden horse into Troy and subsequently sack the city and put the Trojans to the sword.
