This manuscript, an important Herbal, contains the work of Pletario and Bartolomeo Mini. It consists of 168 leaves with very rich illustrations: 22 small miniatures, 390 illustrations of herbs and plants, 5 of animals, and 50 of minerals. The illuminator worked in Bourg en Bresse, in an area bordering Savoy.
The detail of folio 92 illustrates the collection of honey; beneath a shelter a woman lifts a hive made from a tree trunk and protects her face with her hand. A brown bear is depicted beneath the table.
