The miniature on folio 388 shows scenes from the life of St Louis. The manuscript in two volumes was made for Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy in the workshop of Jean Mansel at Valenciennes. The miniatures of different style were made by different masters (among them Loyset Liédet, Marmion).
