The miniature on folio 5 of this manuscript depicts the Round Table and the vision of the Holy Grail on Whit Sunday. The names of the knights are inscribed above them or on their chairs. Here Lancelot presides instead of the king. The table recalls both the table of the Last Supper and the Cosmos itself.
