This small manuscript contains a grammatical text which was compiled for Ippolita, the daughter of Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan and Bianca Maria Visconti. The decoration consists of initials and a frontispiece (folio 1, shown here) bearing the coat of arms and initials 'HIP MA' of Ippolita Maria for whom it was intended.
