This parchment codex is the eponymous manuscript of the Master of the Harley Froissart, in collaboration with the Master of the Vienna Chroniques d'Angleterre. Beside 12 large miniatures with large decorated initials and full foliate borders, there are 39 small column-wide miniatures such as the present one from folio 118r. It depicts the scene when ransom is paid to the Turkish sultan for the release of the Count of Nevers.
