Missae sub notis musicis

This manuscript was probably produced at the Habsburg-Burgundian court at Mechelen. It contains the chants for three and four voices for ten masses by well-known composers.

The initial 'T' on folio 47, shown here, on brightly coloured ground, is made up of delicate foliate motif enlivened with flowers, fruit and small animals.
