This open double page (folios 41v and 42r) of the manuscript shows the main characteristics of the decoration. The manuscript is famed for the richness of its fantastic and grotesque drolleries. Such famous miniaturists as Gerard David, Simon Bening and Gerard Horenbout were among those who contributed to the design of the manuscript.
