Interior view

In its ground plan and elevation, the former nunnery church in Ottmarsheim is a simplified imitation of the Palatine Chapel of Charlemagne in Aachen. The octagonal, centrally planned building is also encircled by an octagonal ambulatory. In the west there is a single-tower front, whilst the east has a small rectangular choir with a gallery.
