Abbey Church of Notre-Dame, Jumièges (Seine-Maritime)

This Romanesque church was begun some time after 1040 and consecrated in 1067. Today it is an impressive and picturesque ruin surrounded by meadows. The richly articulated twin towers are one of the earliest surviving examples of a twin tower façade with a central gable.

The photo shows the nave interior.
