Benedictine abbey church, Königslutter

The monastery church of St. Peter and Paul in Königslutter exemplifies a late stage of Staufen architecture. It was built between 1135 and the late twelfth century by Emperor Lothar. The detailed articulation of the main apse in the east is typical.
