Collegiate church, Tum

Poland Romanesque collegiate churches were unvaulted. The most elaborate building of this group is the parish church of Tum, dedicated to Mary and Alexius, and restored after sections were destroyed. It is a double-ended church with galleries over the side aisles. The nave has a wooden roof; at its east end it adjoins a barrel-vaulted choir wit side apses, and at the west end is an apse flanked by two towers.

The photo shows the west end of the church.
