In the church of St. Lawrence (Lorenzkirche) in Nuremberg, the cornice dividing the stories of the choir has become a wall passage with tracery parapet, protruding like a pulpit. This wall passage, completed in 1466 at the latest, was a feature that quickly became part of the German architectural repertoire.
The photo shows the parapet gallery of the hall choir in St. Lawrence church.
