Very pleased to find information regarding and an example of Paulus Moreelse's portraiture in your website. I acquired a portrait of a young lady by this artist at an auction in Amsterdam in 1972. Hand-carrying the large piece home to the U.S. was made easier through KLM's generosity in giving me a free seat for the portrait's transatlantic trip. Keep up the good work!

I'm an Orthopaedic surgeon in my country. When I studied the foot pathology known as "clubfoot" I found this extraordinary painting by a master not realy known for me as Rubens or Goya or Van Gogh so I became interested in his work. It's really beautiful the way he painted things so clearly thou sometimes darker more like El Greco.

I was looking for Rosso Fiorentino's Musiciant angel. I saw this paint in Florence in February 1997 and I surprised because the angel was exactly like my daughter is!
