The altarpiece was originally in the sacresty of the church Santa Trinità in Florence. The main panel shows the Deposition while the pilasters on both sides figures of different saints. The Deposition is fundamentally a Renaissance work of art with some nostalgic Gothic details (mainly the group of women on the left side).
